Learn how to make beautiful blueprints with Harlow Sculpture Town Artist In Residence, Meriel Clarke
In this free 90 minute workshop for 15-25 year olds, you will learn from artist Meriel how to create prints using this fascinating process, and take new skills plus 2 or 3 artworks away with you.
There are 3 bookable session times for each date (Mon 26th and Wed 28th). 10:00-11:30am, 12:00-1:30pm, 2:00-3:30pm
Please bring:
- warm, weather appropriate clothing as the majority of the workshop will take place outdoors.
- flat objects to make prints with, if you can (for example pressed leaves, flowers, lace, fabric, paper cut-outs, or anything that inspires you). There will be some flat objects available and all other materials will be provided.
- a face covering
Accessibility:
- We will be working outside in the town park most of the time, where the ground can be uneven.
- The Learning Centre has an accessible toilet
Covid-19 precautions:
- Book a ticket in advance (if you are coming in a group you must book a ticket for each person )
- Practice social distancing
- Wash hands on entering and exiting the learning studio
- Wear a face covering throughout
- It will not be necessary to share equipment and we will be cleaning equipment between sessions
- We are limiting numbers of participants in line with government guidelines
- We will review these guidelines again before the event so please be mindful that we may need to make changes
