Heritage Triangle Zoom Talk - HOD
A presentation on three local famous buildings with Malcolm Noble Chairman of Chelmsford Civic Society.
This presentation will begin with the admiration of the Quaker Meeting House of 1824: re-named the Anne Knight Building in 1957.
Our next building is the majestic Shire Hall of 1791 and a preview of the elaborate County ballroom inside on the first floor.
Our last building has international historical links and was once the offices of the Marconi Company built in 1912 as part of the world’s first purpose built radio factory.
All three of these iconic heritage buildings, have one thing in common, at one point in their life, they have been neglected, but have now been fully restored.
This event is free. You will need to book via Eventbrite for Zoom joining details.
