The Marconi Company and the Battle of Britain

The Battle of Britain was another example of the whole country handling a major problem. Most stories, deservedly, feature the Spitfires, Hurricanes, their RAF pilots, and WAAFS on the plotting tables. Part of Chelmsford Heritage Open Days.

To carry out their duties they had a support structure provided by the intellectual and creative energy of science, industry and society. This presentation covers part of this story. This is a virtual event hosted by a retired member of the Marconi Community who has an extensive knowledge of the subject.
