Let Off STEAM announce half term activities programme

Join Basildon’s GhScientific for Let Off STEAM online this half term – a week of interactive art and science workshops suitable for ages 5-13.

Let Off STEAM first in launched in Basildon in 2018 at the George Hurd Centre in response to demand for a regular out of school hands on science activities club that kids can engage with. It was launched by Dr Hephzi Tagoe, science communicator and founder of Basildon Street Science.

Back in early March we brought you news that Let Off STEAM was evolving into a Saturday science club for children. Of course lockdown meant that the club closed temporarily.

We are thrilled to announce that, with support from Essex 2020, Let Off STEAM has moved online. The virtual version launches with a fantastic programme of activities during October half term.
