The Essex 2020 podcast
In this series, we go behind the scenes of the UK’s biggest celebration of science and creativity. In each episode, Essex 2020 project director Richard Freeman meets some of the brilliant people and organisations who are working to create, inspire and discover Essex’s past, present and future.
In this episode: Ros Green from Essex Book Festival
For over 20 years, Essex Book Festival has been one of the highlights of the Essex cultural calendar. Each March it hosts over 100 events in over 45 venues, including theatres, libraries, schools, universities, cafes and art galleries. And this year - a swimming pool!
Richard talks to Festival Director Ros Green about why 2020’s theme of ‘Brave New Worlds’ is bringing together the imagination of science and bold new frontiers in the arts for a very special Essex 2020 year.
