Join Kinetika for this year’s Thurrock 100 Walking, Talking + Making Festival. A series of walks and picnics along the Thames Estuary, starting and ending in the newly named Pufleet-on-Thames.
This year is a call to action to rise to local challenges through the collective process of designing and making beautiful large-scale mandalas inspired by Scottish artist, Therese Muskus.
As we travel to each location we will be reflecting on issues including climate change, plastic waste, reclaiming public spaces, bio-diversity, growing sustainable communities, health and well-being – whilst collaboratively making beautiful pieces of art from locally collected materials.
There are eight key events, some are live and some are self-directed with information shared online to inspire you. All walk routes and detailed information about each day, including mandala makes are on the individual walk pages.
