Toddler STEAM experiment jars raise £235 for Children In Need

Mum-of-three Sandra Beale has been running popular online Toddler STEAM sessions for pre-school children throughout this celebratory year of science and creativity.

Sessions introduce STEAM ideas and scientific concepts in a fun and engaging way, through experiments and creative play.

With a firm belief that “every child should have the chance to flourish”, Sandra came up with the excellent idea to create pre-made STEAM Jars while also raising money for Children In Need.

I thought creating STEAM jars of experiments with instructions would be fun for kids and their parents to do together in their own time, and selling the jars to raise money to help local children in need would enhance the lives of more children.

Each jar contains the main ‘ingredients’ for five fun experiments and there are two categories of jar to choose from. Sandra has raised £235 to date, absolutely smashing her target of £100.

If you would like to buy a STEAM Experiment Jar and raise money for this excellent cause visit Sandra’s Just Giving page.

Fancy making your own? Sandra has very kindly shared the ‘ingredients’ for the jars and instructions for the experiments. Visit our Resources page to find out more.

Toddler STEAM sessions continue weekly all year round every Monday morning at 9:30am. The focus for December is Christmas STEAM. Sessions will remain online via Zoom for the foreseeable future. Call or text Sandra for details 07708 157326.
